Under Sweden’s Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59), as a customer you always have a 30-day right of withdrawal when purchasing online. The withdrawal period begins on the day on which the item is collected or received by you or a person on your behalf. The right of withdrawal means that you have the right to cancel your purchase and to receive a refund when you have made a purchase on the Website.

In addition to the right of withdrawal, at Polarn O. Pyret you have the right to exchange all online purchases for 30 days. The right to exchange means that you have the right to exchange an item that you have purchased on the Website.

At Polarn O. Pyret, you have the right to exchange or return items for a full refund for 30 days.

Right of withdrawal
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal within 30 days of purchase via the Website, you have the right to open the packaging and examine the item to the extent necessary to assess its character, features and function. However, we are entitled to deduct an amount by which the value of the product has been reduced if you or your children have used the product more than necessary to determine its character, features and function, e.g. in addition to trying the garment on for size. Such a deduction is made according to the value of the product upon return compared to the original value at the time of purchase.

The right to withdraw and exchange does not apply to:
(1) personalised items (e.g. made to measure); or
(2) items which have a broken seal and which are not suitable for return for health and hygiene reasons (e.g. underwear and swimwear);

How to exercise your right of withdrawal or right of exchange:

Return to warehouse

If you want to return one or more items to our warehouse, the return shipping charge is € 9,90. Your parcel contains a delivery note, return address label and returns slip to use for returns.  Use the returns slip to specify which item(s) you are returning and the reason, and place the returns slip in the return parcel. You can also use the Swedish Consumer Agency's standard form for exercising the right of withdrawal, which you can find here. 
 
Please attach the prepaid return address label to the outside of your parcel and drop it off at your nearest agent. We recommend that you retain your proof of posting until we have received and registered your return. 

If the return address label isn’t included in your parcel please contact customer service.  

Refund
When you return an item to our warehouse, the money will be refunded as soon as we have received and inspected the returned item. If you have paid by card, the money for the returned item will be refunded to your card.  You will find more information about refunds from Klarna here. You only pay for the items that you keep, as well as the original shipping charge and return shipping charge. If you use your right of withdrawal, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery, but not any difference due to your choice of a more expensive shipping option than our standard delivery.

You will receive your refund within 14 days from the day you notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. However, we will not provide the refund until we have received the product back or before you have shown that you have sent it.
